On September 28, we will be participating as a family in RunTough for Team Owen to End DIPG. Please help us support the fight for a cure for the deadliest pediatric brain cancer: DIPG! Our friends, fellow Mann School family, and Nellie’s softball coach lost their son Owen at the age of 6.
DIPG is responsible for 15% of ALL pediatric cancer deaths. 90% of kids will die within 2 years of a DIPG diagnosis and it currently has a 0% survival rate. This is unacceptable! But it is NOT hopeless! Other cancers used to have a 0% survival rate and research changed that. Your donations can make a difference. It is time to find a cure! As a family who has directly benefited from research in rare diseases, we are deeply committed to helping this cause.
We are participating in the RunTough for Team Owen / ChadTough Defeat DIPG 5K, and we need your help to meet our fundraising goal. All donations will be used to fund essential research for treatments and a cure for childhood brain tumors through ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Thank you for joining us to support this important cause!
